St. David’s, Cardiff

A retail led mixed use city centre scheme, where we are working in a 50:50 joint venture partnership with Land Securities Group PLC. Cardiff Council is the freeholder.

St David's Partnership is a joint venture between Land Securities and Capital Shopping Centres. The letting agents are E J Hales, Lunson Mitchenall and Cushman & Wakefield.

Opening in autumn 2009, St David's, situated at the heart of Cardiff, between the city's two main railway stations will create:

  • 1,394,500 sq ft (129,550 sq m) of prime retail space
  • Wales's first John Lewis department store
  • 304 new homes
  • New public amenities and public spaces
  • 3,000 car parking spaces
  • An already opened state-of-the-art , six storey 55,000 sq ft (5,110 sq m) civic library
  • 4,000 jobs on completion
